Save Server Space: Load Product Images Externally

How Can We Help?

When you import products from AliExpress, each product comes with numerous related images. Each variation of a product come with an image, often product description has images too. By default, WordPress saves all imported images locally on your server. However, you can change this setting by enabling the “Use External Image URLs” feature in the plugin’s settings.

If you prefer to load images locally instead, you will need to deactivate the “Use External Image URLs” feature if it was previously enabled. The plugin will then display the number of products that currently use external images among your imported items. You can click a designated button to download and save all these images locally.

Load external mage global feature

If you prefer to import products externally but want to load images for a specific product onto your server, you can do so easily. Simply open the editing page for that product, navigate to the A2W Data tab, and click the ‘Load’ button located next to the external images section. If you do not see this section, it means that the product does not have external images imported by the plugin.
