What is API daily usage quota?

In order to make any operations plugin makes special background requests to our server where we obtain information from AliExpress. Such information includes: prices. stock level, product shipping information. product reviews, product descriptions, attributes, variants, etc.

AliNext plugin has different amount of operations that you can perform on daily basis depedning on your package.

For example, in the screenshot, you can see the ‘Base’ package and information about daily limits. At the time of creating this article, this package provided 1500 requests per day. When you perform any operation, the plugin deducts some requests from the corresponding category (depending on your request type) and decreases the total limit accordingly. There are few api request categories: searches, products, descriptions, reviews. shipping, orders.

Please note: Orders are a special request category that we count separately because it does not use our API. Instead, it is based on AliExpress API and use AliExpress token to perform orders tasks. Therefore, every time you place or sync orders, it will use the Orders category and will not use your Total daily limit.

Daily Usage Limit Decreasing Quickly – What Should I Do?

If you’re noticing a rapid decrease in your daily usage limit, here are some steps you can take:

• Enable the Max Auto-Update Quota Feature: This feature allows you to set a percentage of your total API requests to be allocated for auto-update purposes. By default, this is set to 75%, but you can lower it to conserve your usage.
• Upgrade Your Tariff Package: Consider upgrading your plan to increase your daily usage limit. You can view available packages here: Upgrade Your Package (https://ali2woo.com/packages/).
• Disable the AliExpress Sync Feature: In the plugin settings (under common settings), you can disable the AliExpress Sync feature. This will help save your daily usage quota.
